On September 24, 2008, invited by Korea Medicine Intellectual Property Association, Mr. Wang Pengfei, the manager of Patent Department, Mrs. Yang Liping, the manager of Trademark Department, CN-KnowHow Intellectual Property Agency Ltd, Beijing gave lectures on special patent examination regulations in the field of medicine and biotechnology and well-known trademark protection respectively during their stay in Korea.

Examiners from Department of Chemical Medicine, Korea Patent office and about 50 IP in charge executives from Korea Medicine Enterprises participated in this seminar.

The organizer and participants spoke highly of the lectures which delivered the fresh and practical information that will help Korea medicine enterprises to understand special regulations on patent examination in the field of Chinese Medicine and Biotechnology and some questions about well-known trademark protection. All these will also be helpful for Korea medicine enterprises on how to protect their own IP rights in China. After the lecture, experts of CN-KnowHow answered all the questions asked by participants.
